We at Brid.TV hope that you all are well and keeping safe during these challenging times. Know that we’re thinking of you and everyone impacted by this crisis. We’re not losing hope that this will be over soon and that the whole world will come out better and stronger. For the time being, stay safe, and stay at home!

Although we’ve been following our national guidelines and working from home since March 1, we are still working hard to bring a new and improved platform to you and our publishers. With that in mind, we present the Brid.TV platform update 5.0.5, which has been enriched with valuable new features.

Most importantly, we’ve added configurable share icons which means that our publishers can decide which share icons will appear on the player level. Not only that, but also we’ve taken a step forward and added email and Viber as additional sharing options.

Furthermore, our video platform now has two key features. Namely, we’ve added support for the new TCF v2.0 and California Consumer Privacy Act, both of which are aimed at enabling consumers to grant or withhold consent to their data being processed.

  • Added configurable share icons on the player level so you can now pick and choose which share icons you want to display on the player level. Email and Viber share options have also been added as additional share options.

  • Added support inside the player for the new TCF 2.0 consent frameworks.
  • Added support for the new US California act privacy consent macro.
  • Added a new report type in our REPORT section of our analytics so you can now grab video reports sorted by date.
  • We made some minor backend improvements regarding how we handle RSS syncing for video carousels creation.
  • We’ve updated the most-used custom skins across the board with fresh styling.
  • Fixed a minor display bug when displaying no data on the player’s analytics screen.
