Dear publishers, our development team has been diligent since our last platform update, and our hard work has paid off! We’re releasing a new platform update which brings exciting features such as our new Brid.TV Content Units and more!
Let’s highlight some of the most prominent changes that came with this update.
Key Changes
We’re excited to reveal that our new content units (former playlist widgets) are now live! Brid.TV is committed to helping publishers improve view times and user engagement. That’s why we redesigned our default content units and added new ones.
Each content unit comes with several different designs and customization options, enabling you to choose the ones that are most suitable to your audience’s habits and preferences.

Full 6.0.6. Changelog
Here’s a full list of changes that we introduced following our 6.0.6. platform update:
- New content units are live! Our default content units have been re-designed and we have released some new ones at that! Log into your Brid account and browse through them.
- Our video carousels now accept videos as well as images for video carousel creation. Furthermore, you can now create a video carousel combo of both videos and images.
- Updated our Assertive Yield implementation for tracking prebidding performance.
- Added an option for account owners to completely delete their account. You don’t need to contact us for this process anymore. Keep in mind that if this process is done, ALL your information and assets will be completely removed from our system and there is no way for us to return your account to the previous state.
- Due to lack of usage, our native ad units have been deprecated.
- Changed Google IMA parser VPAID mode to insecure to be default instead of enabled. More info on this here – VPAID 2 JavaScript creatives | IMA SDK for HTML5 | Google Developers
- Changed Google IMA OM SDK implementation to FULL mode. More info here – Open Measurement | IMA SDK for HTML5 | Google Developers
- Minor optimizations to our JSON feeds.
- Fixed some minor inconsistencies with the latest IMA SDK when it comes to ad error event handling.
- Fixed a display error that showed incorrect bandwidth limits for yearly paid plan holders.
